Terms of service
Last updated 25 July 2026
The service
InstantIndexNow submits URLs to search engines that implement the IndexNow protocol, and verifies the domain key file before doing so. It is a client for someone else's protocol, and it does not control what those search engines do with a submission.
What we do not promise
- We do not promise your pages will be indexed. IndexNow affects discovery; indexing is each engine's own decision about your content.
- We do not submit to Google. Google does not participate in IndexNow.
- We do not promise a particular indexing time. Published figures for IndexNow are typical, not contractual.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Engine endpoints change and go down, and we depend on them.
Your responsibilities
- Only submit URLs for hosts you control. Publishing the key file is what proves that, and submitting for a host you do not control is a breach of these terms.
- Do not use the service to submit spam, malware, or content that violates a search engine's guidelines.
- Do not attempt to evade rate limits or quotas, including by rotating IP addresses on the free tier.
- Keep your API key confidential. Requests made with your key are treated as yours.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record for the sale, and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period, after which the account reverts to the free tier.
If a charge was a mistake, email contact@instantindexnow.com within 14 days and we will refund it. We may change prices with 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions keep their price until the next renewal after that notice.
Suspension
We may suspend an account that abuses the service, breaches these terms, or generates submissions that put our access to an engine's endpoint at risk. Where circumstances allow we will tell you first.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost rankings, lost traffic, or lost revenue.
